alleande.comThis website, created by a UH Mānoa Graduate Student in the Second Language Studies (SLS) Program, provides graded readers and podcast storytelling for EL practice.
The highlight of this website is its use of engaging stories to interest older Learners using simple language - while not an extensive resource, it is a pleasant change for High Schoolers bored with Elementary content. |
er-central.comThis interactive website provides Extensive Reading (ER) and Listening (EL) practice for users who register for an account. The site tracks their reading time, saves words for review, and tests for comprehension to "level up" to the next reading level.
As a bonus, educators can also create "institution" accounts, allowing them to create bulk accounts and track multiple Student users. |
